1. About this service Dating the Big (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”) is a matchmaking and visibility platform connecting Start-ups and Companies for innovation, partnership and business opportunities.
By creating a profile and subscribing to a plan (Start-up or Company), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. 

2. Subscription plans and pricing We currently offer two main annual subscription plans:

2.1 Start-up Plan – Price: €20/month, billed annually (€240/year)
Includes:

– A public Start-up profile visible on the Platform.
-Unlimited dating opportunities with Companies and partners using our filters and live search.
– 1 x 5-minute video pitch (your production), featured on the homepage for 1 week (among the “3 pitches of the week”).
– *ree participation in at least one sector roundtable (online, hosted on the Platform), subject to availability.
– Profile review and light optimization suggestions at onboarding.
– Moderated and curated environment to increase the quality of connections. 

2.2 Company Plan – Price: €30/month, billed annually (€360/year)**.
Includes:

– A public Company profile visible on the Platform.
– Unlimited dating opportunities with curated Start-ups.
– Full access to Start-up profiles, filters and live search. – Visibility as an innovation / business partner on the Platform.
– Possibility to participate as a guest in monthly sector roundtables (online, hosted on the Platform), subject to theme and availability.
– Access to Start-up video pitches and direct contact options.
– Moderated and curated environment to focus on relevant connections.

We reserve the right to update prices and plans in the future. Any price changes will apply to new subscriptions or renewals and will be communicated in advance when required. 

3. Billing, renewal and cancellation 

3.1 Billing and payment:
– All subscriptions are billed annually in advance via Stripe.
– When you subscribe, you authorize us and Stripe to charge the annual amount corresponding to your plan.
– Stripe securely processes all payment data. We do not store your full card details on our servers. 
3.2 Automatic renewal – Subscriptions are automatically renewed every 12 months unless cancelled before the renewal date. –
At renewal, the annual fee applicable to your plan will be charged again via Stripe.
– You may receive a reminder email before renewal when applicable.
3.3 Cancellation
– You can request cancellation of your subscription **at any time before the renewal date**: – either via the Stripe subscription management link (when available),
– or by contacting us at:contact@datingthebig.com
– Cancellation stops future renewals. The current subscription period remains active until its end.
– Unless required by law, fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable. 

4. Profiles, content and moderation 
4.1 Information you provide When you submit your Start-up or Company profile, you are responsible for:
– The **accuracy and truthfulness** of all information provided (name, website, description, sector, etc.).
– The rights to use any logo, images and videosyou upload. – Keeping your profile up to date (notifying us of major changes if necessary).

4.2 Moderation and right to refuse To preserve the quality and safety of the Platform:
– We review and moderate all profiles before publication.
– We reserve the right to: – refuse, edit or remove any profile, logo, text or video that is: –
misleading, illegal, offensive or not aligned with the purpose of the Platform,
– infringing third-party rights (trademarks, copyrights, etc.).
– Payment does not guarantee automatic publication. In case of refusal for serious non-compliance, we may decide, at our sole discretion, to:
– request corrections or updated content, –
and in some cases, terminate the subscription (with or without refund depending on the situation and applicable law). 
4.3 Use of your logo, name and pitch By subscribing and providing your logo, company name and pitch, you grant us a non-exclusive right to:
– Display your logo, name and profile on the Platform.
– Feature your  5-minute pitch video n the homepage (for Start-ups) as part of the “pitches of the week”.
– Mention your Start-up or Company in roundtables, newsletters or highlight sections of the Platform, in connection with our matchmaking and visibility services. You retain all intellectual property rights on your content.

5. Use of the Platform and matchmaking – The Platform provides tools for visibility, search and contact between Start-ups and Companies. –
We do not guarantee:
– any specific number of matches,
– any specific level of traffic or leads,
– the conclusion of a contract, partnership or investment. – All **negotiations, agreements and contracts** between Start-ups and Companies are strictly between the parties involved. We are not a party to these contracts and cannot be held liable for their content or execution.
6. Data protection and privacy We process personal and professional data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. In particular:
– We collect the data you provide in the forms (e.g. contact name, email, website, description, logo, video links). – We use this data to: –
create and display your profile on the Platform, –
enable matchmaking and contact between Start-ups and Companies,
– manage your subscription and send administrative communications (billing, renewals, important service updates).
– Payment data (card details, etc.) is processed securely by Stripe We do not store full card numbers or CVV on our servers. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of liability Within the limits allowed by law:
– We provide the Platform “as is” and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
– We are not liablefor:
– business decisions made by Start-ups or Companies,
– results (or lack of results) from using the Platform,
– any damages resulting from agreements made between users of the Platform. Our total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the current subscription period.

8. Changes to these Terms We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example to: – reflect changes in our services, – comply with legal or regulatory requirements. In case of significant changes impacting your subscription or rights, we will inform you by email or via a notice on the Platform.
